Volunteers will serve for two or more weeks at the Kigali Health Institute in the capital city of Kigali. They will provide training to students, faculty and local dentists, focusing on preventive education, oral examinations, basic restorative dentistry, oral hygiene, periodontal treatment, and alleviation of oral infection and pain. The program is designed to raise the effectiveness of primary oral health care in modern city clinics as well as in underserved rural regions of the central African nation.
