A product of the finest traditions of US higher education, Dr. Marjan Kermanshah got her Master's of Science Degree with Honors from Columbia University in Human Nutrition. Soon after, she attended New York University's College of Dentistry where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree.
She built on this background of Natural Sciences and Medicine by completing two
consecutive years of graduate residencies
at St. Barnabas Hospital in New York City. Later, Dr. Kermanshah received her diploma in Implant Dentistry from New York University's Continuing Dental Education Program, which has now become her primary area of interest as well as cosmetic family dentistry.
She has trained with Dr.Trevor Bavar and Dr.Chanda Kale of New York University, who are among the foremost educators in this exciting new field. She is also a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantology (ICOI). She is licensed in the state of New York and New Jersey and currently practices dentistry in the Upper East Side of Manhattan. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry with a gentle touch. Among her hobbies, she likes photography, traveling, and playing tennis.
