Dr. Sam S. Khorsandi has been practicing as a specialist in periodontics and implant surgery for over 25 years. A combination of knowledge, experience and a sincere care has made him extremely successful and well loved by his patients.
Dr. Khorsandi received his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from UCLA in 1984 and continued his studies at UCLA dental school to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1988. He then specialized in periodontics and implantology at Loma Linda University and graduated in 1990. His research project in graduate school focused on regenerative surgery of intrabony periodontal defects using ePTFE barrier membranes, resulting in a publication in the Journal of Periodontology.
